In the world of higher education, stories from students are often some of the most valuable tools available for building support for a program or movement, and the use of film in communications and advocacy allows audiences to put a face, voice, and a name to many of the pressing issues facing our students. This session will preview 3 recently released, award-winning documentaries in higher education, Personal Statement, Fail State, and Unlikely, and will feature a panel of Directors and students to discuss the value of student voices and storytelling in the College Promise movement.
